Plus Clarence Lai, aka Airsoft Surgeon, will be at the show running free to attend 1 hour workshops on Airsoft practical pistol shooting and gun mod techniques, a rare chance to learn from one of the best in the industry.

And a SPECIAL ASG Competition!
It looks like I’ve been bitten by the bug that is AIPSC (Airsoft International Practical Shooting Confederation) from my 1st taster session at AAF4 so I’ve been searching the interwebs for more stuff. For those that still aren’t sure what is involved, please check out the video from the event on my previous posting HERE.
One of my many interweb searches has been for a critical piece of kit, the timing mechanism, but one that would be suited to Airsoft needs rather than Real Steel versions. And I’ve FOUND ONE! Produced by MAD-BULL and available in Europe via our old friends ASG – Action Sport Games.

Now out in the REAL STEEL world where people are trusted to handle real weapons, IPSC is BIG. Our friends at ASG sponsored Team CZ Shooting at the World IPSC Championship.
The event was a huge success, with Team CZ Shooting, bringing home 5 gold and 1 bronze medal in the individual disciplines. In addition, members of the team helped the Czech and Slovak National Teams, to win 2 silver and 2 bronze medals in the National Teams competition.

A Taste of AIPSC@ AAF4
AAF4 was the place to be to get a great taste of a fascinating ‘new’ airsoft shooting sport that is sure to catch on I think! It is of course AIPSC (Airsoft International Practical Shooting Confederation). Well, I say new, but it’s been around some time now, where it’s BIG out with our Far East cousins where BIG money prizes attract a good crowd of participants. Of course nothing like that popularity here…but you never know!Check out the video for a taster:
The sport of course involves a quick draw, good reflexes, agility and not forgetting the accuracy on the target shooting bits! This all adds up to a great bit of competition between you and your mates to see who scores the highest. So get those pistols dusted off and get shooting AIPSC style! Let’s hope we see something like this in the Northwest soon. If we do I’ll let you know.
