HUGE ROF!with the Magic GearBox @ AAF4
MORE surprises from the October 2012 Airsoft Arms Fair4 with the 1st appearance of the Magic Gear box, courtesy of our friends from Airsoft Direct.
The gearbox that is inside the VFC M16 'SUPERGUN' is made specifically for M4/M16. Although the more experienced/tech minded Airsoft player may have knowledge of whether this is compatible for their own AEG's. Airsoft Direct are currently in talks with the manufacturer to produce the same standard of gearbox for other brands.
The piston and piston head is especially designed for constant high rate of fire. This is visible by comparing the teeth on this piston to a normal gearbox's one.

The gears are C&C made. If you compare these gears to standard gears you will find a difference in quality and in the angles of the teeth on them. Both the gears and the piston are designed to perform faster and run on a higher voltage. It has also has uprated tappet plates.
The recommended motor to be used with this gearbox would be a Marui or a Lonex branded one as these shouldn't get as hot as some of the cheaper motors on the market, as heat can be an issue.
The gearbox is supplied with silver wiring to help protect the motor from burning out and the battery from over heating. The spring is included (M100 spring). This is NOT compatible with any ICS or other rifles that have a split gear box configuration.
The expected Retail Price for this MagicBox is set to be £130.
