The NEW BFGX5
Coming SOON to Airsoft Odyssey
Full Review coming soon & maybe some video action for you lucky readers.

As the 'old' Dynatec 'delay' BFG becomes rarer then hen's teeth to source (they aren't made any more and second hand prices are getting scary in some quarters!) the airsoft market is desperate for a replacement. In answer to a prayer for many airsoft players, along comes the BFGX5 to answer those desperate pleas.

Like its predecessor the BFGX5 promises multiple calibre compatibility (via adaptors) - although, initially it will be released for 9mm blank which, we are told, will give it a quick load ability (with further adaptors available, based on demand). The BFGX5 certainly has the same re-usability of the old Dynatec and offers a saving over time on the purchase of disposable, single use pyro which has to be good for our wallets.

Initially the BFGX5 will be available in the ubiquitous BLACK colour, but as its made from a hardened plastic it can accept the usual end-user customisations of spray paint, tape etc, let your imagination run wild on what options you can use there then. If demand is big enough, the people behind BFGX5 are open to the idea of producing them in other colours as well.

I've still not been able to find out what the 'unique' feature will be, they are keeping that one close to their chests but the main features of the BFGX5 are:
+ Compatible With Blanks!
+ Realistic Design & Operation!
+ Durable Construction!
+ No Loose Parts To Collect!
+ Reloads In Under 5 Secs!
+ Unique Features TBA...!

Keep watching the blog for a full review and video on this great piece of INNOVATION in airsofting from BFGX5 as the blog will be getting a sample to test real soon now!

  1. BAMF Said,

Never been a big fan of using pyro of any sort mate, but these look to be at least as good as the Dynatec BFG. Looking forwrd to the video of it.

  2. Anonymous Said,

To bad they won't be permited to be used at most legal fields and events. Nice concept though.

  3. Unknown Said,

No reason why this should be banned at UK sites! Those that allow GR20's and Dynatecs I think will allow these. In many ways safer than ignition style pyro's.

    "made from hardened plastic"
Seriously??? It may well be hardened but it's still plastic. Do they realise it'll thrown about? Or do they not care as they're only out to make a few bob

  5. Unknown Said,

I think the 'hardened plastic' may be ABS like the Dynatech grenade - but we wait and see - I believe from the FB page its still 'delayed' though (no pun intended).
