SWAT from the FrontLine 11th July 2010 Skirmish

As usual @ SWAT Urban more "great games, great players, great marshalls - that's what swat is all about". The heat of day played a BIG part in this skirmish fest of Fun & Firepower. It was a bit sad thinking this was probably going to be my penultimate game at this great site before its proposed demolition for yet more housing! (See the sad announcement here).

The day kicked off with a quick warm up game of CQB 'Bomb retrieval' with the Reds just edging this by holding the Blues back, but only just! The follow up game saw us Reds defending the officers mess from the attacking onslaught of heavy sustained Blue attacks, followed by a great 'Block Wars' game, with Reds holding the Officers mess and Blues in the CQB block. This meant dividing your firepower. The day was a great mix of games which also included a Street Attack/Defend game, defending the 'Hospital Block' and 'VIP rescue'.

Overall a great day but did prove rather too warm on occasion for this correspondent! Note to self 'Take more drinks' and good advice to anyone else skirmishing in this heat. Extremely unusual in the UK at this time of year, we are just not used to it -lol!

Anyway enough of the wittering. Instead of the usual pictures that go with these FrontLine Reports check out the video courtesy of Sharpy from SWAT, good work I'm sure you'll agree.

Don't forget the last skirmish on this site is a weekender on 17th & 18th July - come for just one day or camp over for both! BFG's allowed outside! This is a ONE-OFF event, don't miss out! Special 5% OFF discounts at Dingo's site Airsoft shop as well - grab yourself a bargain.

Just some of the feedback from SWAT members:

"...a great day today thanks guys..."

"Another awsome day, thanks to all players and marshals"

"great games, great players, great marshalls - thats what swat is all about, as usual"

"yeahh amazing day once again"
