World War 2 Airsoft
Coming to SWAT!

Like your airsoft WW2 style?

Well then, WW2 airsoft is coming to SWAT Urban Area51 this 3rd June 2012 courtesy of an ODDBALL Production of ‘Le Chateau: The Dirty Dozen’.

Le Chateau
This Really is the view from the buildings tower!

This is the second “Oddball” event to be held and combines elements of “The Dirty Dozen” and “Allo, Allo” which, along with the unique urban site of ‘Swat Urban Area51’ that contains a 1908 Grade 2 listed house, looks to bring humour and entertainment to the WW2 airsoft genre. Players will love this site and it offers a varied gaming arena.

Check out what a bit of creative photoshop has turned the 'Old House' into:

This event requires a great deal of role play as well as the airsoft elements and uniform requirements will need to be met:

The Sides
12 US
2 British SOE/para
10-12 French resistance
25 German

Uniform / clothing
US forces I would prefer you to wear clothing as used in the movie not all in M42 jump suits
British SOE para uniform or battle dress tunic.
French Resistance clothing can be any period casual/work wear or serving staff clothing for the Château.
German can once again be any period uniform and officers uniforms are quite desirable for this one.

There will also be a social on the Saturday evening.
For those arriving on Saturday 02/06/12 they will be able to sleep in the large covered safe zone area to the rear of the site.

  1. BAMF Said,

I like the sound of this, but don't know if I have anything suitable to be a part in it?

As I say, sounds good. Let us know how it turns out?

  3. Joseph Porta Said,

Hi Bamf, a simple trousers and jumper will do for french resistance, any wooden bolt action rifle. or pistol, and shotguns are fine too

No RIS or other modern gubbins though =)
